Wide application of stainless steel wire mesh as filler in chemical production

Stainless steel wire mesh is commonly used as chemical filler mesh. It is widely used as packing tower in petrochemical, fine chemical, fertilizer, pesticide, environmental protection, perfume-and other industries.

Stainless steel packing net is an indispensable part of packing tower in chemical industry. Its basic function is to increase the contact area between gas-and liquid phases, increase the mass transfer coefficient,-and improve the turbulence degree of liquid in-order to facilitate mass transfer-and heat transfer. Packed tower is a mass transfer equipment which uses the packing in the tower as the gas-liquid two-phase contact component. The tower body of the packed tower is a vertical cylinder,-and the bottom is equipped with the supporting plate of the packing. The packing is placed on the supporting plate in a random pile-or in a whole way.

The basic requirements of stainless steel packing net tower for packing:

1. High mass transfer efficiency requires that the filler can provide large gas-liquid contact surface. That is, large specific surface area is required,-and the surface of filler is easy to be wetted by liquid. Only the wetted surface is the gas-liquid contact surface. The production capacity is large-and the pressure drop of the gas is small. Therefore, it is required that the void fraction of the filling layer be large. Non-displacement causes deviation-and gully flow.

2. Durable appliances have good corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength-and necessary heat resistance.
